Today is time for a new finished work (even though i finished this one like two months ago). Its a lady from the Dark Age range. they had some awesome designs, but the castings are too old by now.
I wanted to represent a non-human dancer chilling and dancing on the wind under a cherry tree, very oriental style. It was the first time i tried water efects, modelling carps and trying to represent wind.
Anyway, im not fully pleased with the scenario, wich its too big and plain, and nothing tells properly a tale. Ive been told too that the tree oversizes the model too much. I guess ill rework it soon, as i see it too empty...

Well, hope you may like it! :)

  1. It's cute, but yes the base totally eclipses the mini with all that detail. Lovely work on both though :)

    1. Thank you... Dont you think the colours are a little too "much"? i think ill try to unify them soon. The lily pad was a real sculpting challenge (Me Vs my gf... She won in the end, so i used her version!)

    2. I think the colours are fine and I seriously love the diorama and figure you painted. The only critique I can offer if I think long and hard is that perhaps the miniature blends a little too well into the background. But even with that being said, I still honestly believe the miniature was very well painted. ^_^ Heh heh ... always let your GF win ;) and congrats to her as it's a good version.
